This exhibition, a collaboration between studio art and dance faculty, brings the vitality of movement and life drawing into conversation with diverse figurative works from the Turner print collection. Guest curators include J Pouwels (drawing), Trevor Lalaguna (sculpture), and Megan Glynn Zollinger (dance).

Discussion of "Then and Back" with Megan Glynn Zollinger (choreographer), Natsumi Kawamura (dancer), Elizabeth Grace Davis (costume designer), and Jeff Oliver (poet). Dance inspired by Jeff Oliver's poem "The Astronomer's Daughter" and the Turner Collection Print Sleepless Night II (1960, etching) by Mathilde Charlotte Rosenthal Ziegler, included in Figural: Bodies in Print.

The Jazz X-Press offers up traditional big band sounds with classics to modern works, and often to our compositions from faculty and students. Guest High School groups often open our concerts and the X-Press has been proud to host many top notch guest artists.

Polka Dots: The Cool Kids Musical

Lily Polkadot just moved to the “Squares Only” small town of Rockaway. As the first Polkadot in an all Square school, Lily faces an almost impossible task of gaining acceptance from her peers. Lily’s quest seems hopeless until she meets Sky, a shy Square boy whose curiosity for her unique polkadot skin blooms into an unexpected pal-ship.

The Wolves

Left quad. Right quad. Lunge. A girls indoor soccer team warms up. From the safety of their suburban stretch circle, the team navigates big questions and wages tiny battles with all the vim and vigor of a pack of adolescent warriors. A portrait of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for nine American girls who just want to score some goals.
