The Chico State Career Center will host its fall All Majors Career and Internship Fair on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the BMU Auditorium.

Representatives from a variety of employers such as the National Park Service, Landacorp, Peace Corps, Boys & Girls Club and Target will attend the Career Fair to recruit students for internships and full-time career positions. Students who are not currently seeking full-time positions or internships are also encouraged to attend the fair and talk with employers about the job market and gain information about future openings.

“We are particularly excited about the variety of employers for this year’s career fair,” said Jamie Starmer, Career Center director. “We’ve got tech employers, government employers, non-profits and those looking to hire in the area of engineering, sales, consulting, construction management, law enforcement and social services. And we’ve got our share of sustainability-oriented companies. It’s a really nice line-up this year.”

Starmer said he expects approximately 1,000 students and over 60 employers to attend the fair.
