Chico State Opens Admissions for Spring 2014 Semester on Aug. 1

On Aug. 1, California State University, Chico will begin accepting applications from fully eligible upper-division transfer students, out-of-state transfer students, international students and credential students and for most graduate programs.

The following graduate programs will not open for spring 2014: anthropology, communication sciences and disorders, nursing, psychology, social work and recreation. Postbaccalaureate students seeking a second bachelor’s in nursing will be able to apply.

CSU, Chico will not restrict applications to the University’s service area as in recent spring admissions cycles, but the spring 2014 applications will be closed to first-time freshmen.

Undergraduate students must apply no later than midnight Aug. 31, 2013, at www.csumentor.edu. The deadline for graduate students to apply is Sept. 15. International undergraduates must apply by Sept. 30.

Director of Admissions Allan Bee said CSU, Chico looks to enroll approximately 900 new students in spring 2014.
