The Center for Economic Development’s 16th annual Northstate Economic Forecast Conference will take place on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, at the Gold Country Event Center in Oroville.

Registration and breakfast opens at 7:30 a.m., and the final breakout sessions will last until 4:30 p.m.

The conference provides an in-depth and candid analysis of where the national, state, and north valley economies are heading in the short and long-term, presented by well-known economists.

The plenary session will feature a returning favorite, professor Robert Eyler of Sonoma State University, as well as Rohit Shukla, CEO of the Larta Institute, and keynote speaker Prem Chand, a North State native and president and CEO of Milestone Technologies.

The conference will also feature a trade show that will be held throughout the length of the conference. The trade show provides attendees an excellent opportunity to view products and services provided by local businesses and organizations. Registration for trade show exhibitors is open until Jan. 7.

Breakout sessions will look at STEM and skills/workforce development, rural economic development, water, transportation, alternative lending and foreign direct investment, as well as other topics to be announced at the conference.

Early-bird prices are available until Jan. 1. To register, reserve an exhibitor’s table for the tradeshow or learn more, visit www.cedcal.com. Registration includes full breakfast and lunch, one copy of the 2016 Economic Scorecard for the region and invaluable economic insight for the year to come.
