Admissions Open for Spring 2016

Beginning Aug. 1, 2015, California State University, Chico will accept applications from fully eligible upper-division transfer students for the spring 2016 semester.

In addition to meeting the general CSU transfer admission requirements, upper-division students from outside of the University’s local admission area may be held to a higher grade point average (GPA) requirement. This GPA will be decided based on the characteristics of the applicant pool.

Applications from the following categories will be accepted: out-of-state, transfer, international, credential, second bachelor degree candidates in nursing and most graduate programs.

The following graduate programs will not accept applications for spring 2016: anthropology, communication sciences and disorders, computer science, computer and electrical engineering, nursing, psychology and social work.

Undergraduate students must apply no later than midnight on Aug. 31, 2015, at www.csumentor.edu. The deadline for domestic and international graduate students to apply is Sept. 15, 2015. International undergraduates must apply by Sept. 30.
