Spring Career Fairs Connect Students, Employers

California State University, Chico will host two career fairs and an industry-sponsored sales competition in April for students and alumni seeking jobs in education, sales and other fields.

Students are invited to attend free career fair preparation seminars on Monday, April 4, at 4 p.m. and Tuesday, April 5, at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the CSU, Chico Career Center located in Student Services Center Room 270. Advisors and guest employers will share best practices for a successful career fair experience.

Bell Memorial Union (BMU) Auditorium

Education Hiring Fair
Saturday, April 16, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On Friday, April 15, CSU, Chico sales students will participate in the Western States Collegiate Sales Competition, cohosted by the College of Business’ Professional Sales Program. Students from across the West and Midwest compete in two 12-minute sales scenarios created by corporate sponsors including ADP and Salesforce.com. In 2015, CSU, Chico students took first place among 13 teams.

The competition takes place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Career Center.
