Why Join NFSA?

NFSA club membership is open to any student interested in nutrition, food science, fitness, or other related health issues. Nursing students, exercise physiology majors, education majors, and many others find their NFSA experience complements their educational goals. Their experience also helps them build a more well-rounded resume. Networking with other like-minded students provides great opportunities to explore different career and educational interests.  And, besides - it's FUN!

Come to any of the general meetings on Tuesday nights at 5:00 p.m. or contact the faculty advisor Lauren Housley for more information.

What Does NFSA Do?

NFSA activities include participation in university and community health fairs, tours of local businesses, bringing in guest speakers, and other nutrition education presentations. Members finalize our activity calendar early in the academic year.

Got ideas? We love hearing new ideas that could improve NFSA's outreach in the community and on campus. Contact any officer or come to any general meeting.
