CSU, Chico oversees the project; ensuring the provision of regional academy professional learning and services. The project is operated through the College of Communication and Education Grants Office. NorCal ELC aligns with the CSU, Chico School of Education Mission, committed to scholar-practitioner inquiry and responsible praxis–based pedagogies that cultivate socially and ecologically just practices. The School of Education has a long history of service to educators in its northeastern California service area and beyond.
Cal Poly Humboldt
Cal Poly Humboldt offers programs that create safer, more supportive, engaging, challenging, and joyful educational experiences. The HSU School of Education has long served educators in Humboldt and Del Norte counties. Cal Poly Humboldt ensures that the services and benefits of NorCal ELC are available to school leaders in Humboldt and Del Norte counties. Cal Poly Humboldt coordinates connections with county offices of education and organizations, such as the Association of California School Administrators.
Chico Unified School District
Chico Unified School District is a critical collaborator with Chico State in educator preparation and has teamed with CSU, Chico on many research and professional learning projects. CUSD has experienced school leaders to help guide the project toward success and a talented pool of leaders and teachers including many who are recognized experts in school improvement and transformation.
Abeo School Change LLC
Abeo School Change LLC is an education design and implementation group that specializes in adult learning to enhance leadership practices. Abeo focuses school change on increasing leadership capacity to improve human capital that develops and sustains real improvement. Abeo takes a collaborative, adaptive approach that respects co-created solutions with clients. Abeo is assisting with project design and implementation, professional learning events, the development of coaches, personalized coaching for individuals and teams, and evaluation activities.
