Major - Psychology

W-Wildcat Moment: My proudest moment at Chico State has been putting on the Dia De Los Muertos event in Fall 2021. Día de Los Muertos has been a holiday that I have celebrated my whole life with my family and being able to incorporate it into my college career has been such an amazing experience.

I-Involvement: SUMO Orientation, MEChA de Chico State, Umatter, Lambda Theta Nu Sorority Inc. These are the main organizations I have been a part of. I highly encourage y’all to get involved, it is never too late. You can gain so much experience and knowledge from it.

L-Live: San Diego is my hometown which is approximately a 10-to-12-hour drive down south.

D-Degree: I am majoring in Psychology and have a minor in Child Development. I have worked with children for a couple of years now and I plan to do so in the future. Careers wise I would want to become a child psychologist or a school counselor.

C-Chico: It was far from San Diego but not out of state. I wanted to become more independent and what better way than moving across the state. Moving to chico has definitely taught me plenty of valuable lessons that I will forever cherish.

A-Aspirations: I hope to work with children in the future and eventually become a Child Psychologist. I hope to move back to San Diego and buy a house to be closer to my family.

T-Tell: I want to get to know y’all and hopefully get some of you out of your comfort zone. As senior staff I am one of the many resources y’all will have in the class and throughout the summer. If y’all ever need help with anything regarding the course or even if its outside of it, I will be more than happy to help.
