New Student Orientation & Transition Programs

Kathleen

Orientation Leader

Year - Junior

Major - Child Development

W-Wildcat Moment: My proudest moment at Chico State would have to be the hands-on experience I received working with children.

I-Involvement: My involvement on campus would be working as an intern and future student staff at the ASCDL.

L-Live: My hometown where I grew up is Sunnyvale, CA. but I recently moved to Los Banos, CA.

D-Degree: The degree I am currently pursuing in is Child Development.

C-Chico: I chose Chico State because the school is small and I wanted to be able to talk to my professors in a classroom setting. The scenery is also very beautiful and peaceful.

A-Aspirations: My dreams for the future once I'm done with the school are to work in child care centers and or continue working on becoming a preschool teacher. I also want to be financially stable and provide for myself and my family.

T-Tell: I like cows. “Cows are friends, not food”- my little saying I have because I don't eat red meat.
