New Student Orientation & Transition Programs

Olivia

Office Assistant

Year - Junior

Major - Psychology

W-Wildcat moment: My proudest moment at Chico State was undergoing a panel interview process and getting hired as a student office assistant for the Orientation and Transition Programs!

I-Involvement: My involvement on campus includes my on campus job, as well as my attendance to multiple Psi Chi meetings that involve guest speakers.

L-Live: My hometown is Lincoln, CA.

D-Degree: I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

C-Chico: I chose to attend Chico State because I grew up visiting Chico, and always felt some connection to it with all the family I have living here. Being able to move away from home to a place where I can still be with my family is something I’m so grateful for.

A-Aspirations: My dreams for the future include getting accepted into a Master’s program for my Psychology degree and being able to further my career path until I can eventually work as a School Psychologist. I hope to have succeeded this goal before I then can start a family, living in San Francisco.

T-Tell: Something else to know about me is that I love to engage in activities that allow me to relieve stress and ground myself, these might include drawing, painting, yoga, meditation, and reading!
