Accessibility Resource Center (ARC)

It’s an ingenious way to live.” ~Neil Marcus The Accessibility Resource Center (ARC) provides a full range of accommodations and support services to students with disabilities. Support services include disability counseling, advocacy, faculty consultation and training, alternative or electronic text, sign language interpreters, closed captioning, note-takers, testing accommodations, and assistive technologies. Campus Recreation

Dream Center

The Dream Center at California State University, Chico strives to support our Chico community members who are undocumented or come from mixed-status families. The Center aims to serve our students, faculty, staff, and community members by providing financial aid resources, health and wellness assistance, and academic guidance. The Center also provides tools for advocacy and trainings on issues regarding immigration. These services are possible thanks to collaborating with various campus departments. Gender and Sexuality Equity Coalition (GSEC)

The Gender & Sexuality Equity Coalition (GSEC) is a student-run activist organization that strives to empower all students through its three programs: the Women’s Program, the Queer Program, and the Trans Program. The GSEC challenges societal norms that have been used to oppress and marginalize, by providing opportunities for leadership, personal development, and referral services. PATH Scholars (Foster Youth Program)

Did you know that only four percent of foster youth will graduate with a bachelor’s degree by the age of 26 in comparison to their non-foster youth peers? The ultimate goal of PATH Scholars is to increase access, retention and graduation rates for current/former foster youth and young adults with an unaccompanied homeless experience as minors.

 PATH is an acronym for Promoting Achievement Through Hope. Students can benefit from a supportive community of peers, staff and faculty to promote success and connectedness during their college experience. Services include more personalized financial aid services, counseling, advising, and tutoring services, as well as connecting students with resources on campus and in the community. In addition, the PATH Scholars Center offers a safe space for students to build community, relax, study and meet with program staff.
