New Student Orientation & Transition Programs

Schedule and Fees

Due to the tight Spring registration timeline and the Thanksgiving break, we are only able to offer one Spring Orientation session on Friday, November 16, 2018.  The cost to attend is $30 and helps us cover staffing, facility, and material costs.  Because we want to accommodate as many new students as possible, we cannot accommodate family and guests . Thanks for your understanding.

Please plan to arrive early to allow ample time for parking and check-in. Since school is in session, campus parking may be limited.Orientation participants may park at no cost (as space is available) in a "G" space in one of two designated parking structures only:

Parking Structure #1: located at 1st and Ivy Streets

Parking Structure #2: located at 2nd and Cherry Streets

If these structures are full your best bet is to pay for off-campus parking through the City of Chico: either metered street parking, or the City of Chico parking lot at 2nd and Salem Streets

Please park your car according to campus regulations(opens in new window) or risk receiving a ticket. For more details, please visit our Parking page
