Campus Parking
Parking: Please arrive early to allow ample time for parking and check-in. Parking permits are required for all CSU, Chico parking lots. Orientation participants may park in one of the campus parking structures at an hour rate of $1 per hour. It is recommended participants download the parking app (Passport) on their phones before arrival: https://www.passportparking.com/. In addition to the Passport Parking App, there is a permit dispenser located on the first floor of each structure.
Orientation participants may park (as space is available) in a space marked as “G” as long as they pay for the zone they park in.
- Passport signage will specify the zone number. Enter the zone into the Passport App to pay for parking.
- Parking is limited so you may wish to arrive early to secure a spot.
- Overnight parking is not permitted.
- Vehicles without permits or in violation of posted parking regulations may be cited.

Public Parking:
You may use City metered parking at:
- The corner of Normal and West 2nd Streets
- The downtown City Parking Structure at Salem and West 3rd Streets.
- Both options are a short walk to campus. Be sure to bring quarters as pricing and time limits vary.
Disabled Parking:
Disabled visitor parking spaces require the display of a valid DMV placard and a paid hourly permit at CSU, Chico. ADA stalls are located on the first floor of each campus structure. The structure located at Normal and W. 2 nd Street has an elevator. Parking at a city meter with a disabled plate or placard is free.
