Student, staff and faculty not living in Chico may apply for carpool parking. Carpool passes are complementary with proof of having a paid campus parking permit on file. The carpool pass must always be properly displayed on a registered vehicle in order to park in designated stalls.
Location
Stalls are located on the first floor of the parking structure located at the corner of W. 2nd Street and Cherry Street. Access is first-come, first-served. Stalls are restricted for carpool pass holders Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. After 5:00 p.m. the stalls are open for any paid campus parking permit.

If you are interested in applying for a carpool permit, fill out the printable application and return it to the University Police Department at the corner of W. 2nd & Chestnut Streets or by calling 530-898-5555.
Each applicant must be on the same form and all student applicants must have a current class schedule attached to the application. Carpool permits must be re-submitted each semester with a minimum of two participants. If more than one vehicle will be used, each vehicle must have a paid parking permit.
