Currently EV charging stations are located in the parking structure located at the corner of 2nd St. and Chestnut St. One stall is located on the first floor with the majority of stalls located on the 4th floor.
There are two ChargePoint stalls available for most campus permits along with activation of a ChargePoint account. Other charging stations require purchase of an hourly parking permit.
To use ChargePoint EV charging stations, users must first sign up for a ChargePoint account or call ChargePoint Customer Service at 888-758-4389.
Once you have registered with ChargePoint and are ready to use an EV station:
Vehicles exceeding the time limit for EV charging are subject to citation. Removing a charger from another vehicle is prohibited.
University employees, students, and visitors who drive an electric vehicle, and who need to charge that vehicle, may park for up to the posted number of hours in a ‘Electric Vehicle Charging Only’ stall. This does not apply to stalls posted for RE Permit. RE stalls are for specific permit holders only, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm.
