My name is Erin Cox and I hold a Master's Degree in Health Sciences with a Bachelors in Health Education (CSUC Alumni). Currently I am a Division Director with the Butte County Department of Public Health and I oversee the Division of Emergency Preparedness and Infectious Disease Control. This Division also houses the Public Health Laboratory. Prior to coming to the department I served as a critical care flight paramedic and oversaw operations for a large air medical provider in CA. I have had the opportunity to teach paramedics and firefighters in Mexico and traveled to Haiti to help with the startup of their national air ambulance. I currently live in Chico with my husband and three active boys. We enjoy traveling, scuba diving, climbing, skiing and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
