John F. Gallagher MBA, CPIM
John Gallagher is an alumni of California State University, Chico and has worked in the Healthcare industry for over 20 years. His journey started as a Decision Support Analyst, after which he was promoted to Director of Decision Support for the North State Service Area of Dignity Health. After working in Finance for several years he moved over to the operations side of Healthcare when he accepted the position of Director of Materials Management / Supply Chain for Dignity Health North State. His responsibilities covered three hospitals in Northern California (Mercy Medical Center – Redding, Mercy Medical Center – Mt. Shasta, and St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff). In 2016 John was promoted to Senior Director of Support Services, with oversight of many of the support service functions within the hospital including EMS, Construction and Engineering, Biomed, Environmental Services, and Nutrition Services. In 2021, John moved back into Healthcare Finance when he accepted his current position as a Senior Financial Analyst with the Common Spirit Corporate Finance Team.
Prior to working in Healthcare, and just after graduating from Chico State, John worked in both public accounting and the manufacturing industry. John has also earned a CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) from ASCM and a Master of Business Administration from National University.
In his spare time John loves spending time with his family, playing and watching sports, and working on home improvement projects.
