Does gravity work? Are you sure? When was the last time you got together with some local physicists and checked if gravity was working by dropping pumpkins 50 feet down onto Trinity Commons?
Join the Society of Physics Students and the Department of Physics at Chico State in a comedic and educational experiment to test how and why things fall. There will be science, jokes, and plenty of falling pumkins, and this year we'll be moving to a new location -- Trinity Commons between the iconic bell-tower, Miriam Library, and the BMU (Bell Memorial Union). The event is free and open to the public.
