Political Science Awards - Spring 2014


Congratulations to all of the 2013–2014 the Department of Political Science award winners and honorees!

Katlyn Perugini received the Political Science Outstanding Student Award of 2014.

Legal Studies Awards: McKenzie Dalthorp received the Advocacy Award; Vianney Bernabe, Gian Gualco-Nelson, and Taylor Wetzel received the Bronson Excellence in Legal Studies Merit Award; Alisha Patton received the Public Law Community Service Award; Tracy Dudick received the Paul Persons “Fighting the Good Fight” Award.

Criminal Justice Honorees: Michael Consiglio received the Academic Student of the Year; Katelyn Williams received Research Student of the Year; Lucas Alward received Community Service Student of the Year; Meagan Miller received Criminal Justice Intern of the Year.

Lauren Crane, CLIC Administrative Director, won the Glenn Kendall Community Service Award. Lauren was a criminal justice major who also graduated with a paralegal certificate.

Political Statements is the official newsletter of the Department of Political Science and Criminal Justice at California State University, Chico.

With over 1,000 total majors, the Department of Political Science and Criminal Justice is one of the largest departments at Chico State. Students choose courses from a rich curriculum, providing close student-faculty contact in each of the following majors of study: U.S. politics, legal studies, criminal justice, international relations, and public administration. The department also offers a Master of Public Administration and a Master of Arts in Political Science.
