BA IN CHILD DEVELOPMENT
The proposed revisions to the BA in Child Development are approved for implementation effective fall 1989. The revised curriculum, reviewed and approved by the Faculty Senate, follows:
The Interdisciplinary Child Development major consists of courses from various disciplines and leads to a Bachelor of Arts Degree. The major consists of 54 units of coursework which includes a required basic core, a final capstone core and an individualized pattern of courses (DIRECT SERVICES or INDIRECT SERVICES) to be worked out by the student and an advisor in accordance with the student's educational objectives. The BA degree requires a total of 124 units.
