Subject: Approval of Revised Liberal Studies Program

LIBERAL STUDIES PROGRAM

The proposed addition of a Non-Teacher Preparation advising pattern to the BA in Liberal Studies is approved for implementation effective fall 1988. The new advising pattern allows students to substitute a formal minor or major for the 16 units of professional prerequisite courses and, provided the second major is 28 or more units, for the 12 unit area of concentration. The revised Liberal Studies program includes the attached three patterns.
