The proposed BA in Journalism was recommended for approval by the Faculty Senate and the Provost and was approved by the Chancellor’s Office December 4, 1989. I approve implementation of this degree, offered by the Department of Journalism within the College of Communication, effective spring 1990. The degree will report using HEGID code number 06021.
