Subject: Approval for Revisions to BA in Philosophy

I approve the proposed revisions to the BA in Philosophy for implementation effective fall 1991. The changes include the following:

  1. Increase from 28 to 34 units required to complete the major. The 6 additional units are required courses.
  2. A reduction of 3 units in choice courses. The 3 units dropped from the choice become a required upper-division courses.
  3. Increase from 13 to 22 units of required courses.
