Subject: Approval for Revisions to BA in History

I approve the proposed revisions to the BA in History for implementation effective fall 1991. The changes, which increase the total number of required units for the major from 30 to 36, include the following:

  1. The addition of 3 units to the core requirement making a total of 12 required units, and
  2. The addition of 3 units selected from a group of four proseminars in comparative history.
