Office of the President

Approval for Revisions to the BS in Biological Sciences

Executive Memorandum 90-029 June 11, 1990

From: Robin S. Wilson, President

Subject: Approval of Revision to the BS in Biological Sciences

I approve the following revisions to the BS in Biological Sciences, effective fall 1991. The number of units required for the major remains unchanged at 64. A new writing proficiency course replaces the existing one; the number of 200-level course choices has been increased. In the Physiology/Cell Biology emphasis, one required course is removed to the list of choices for the student. The Zoology emphasis no longer includes a botany requirement and allows a choice of an additional biology course.
