Subject: Approval of Revision to the BS in Chemistry
I approve the following revisions to the BS in Chemistry, effective fall 1991. The course requirements for the Chemistry major change from 61-78 units to 66-77 units. The Biochemistry option is reduced from 76-78 units to 75-77 units because two coursed have been reduced by one unit each. The Professional Chemist option is increased to 13-14 units with 11 units required and 2-3 units selected from a list of chemistry courses.
