Subject: Revisions to the BA in Child Development
BA IN CHILD DEVELOPMENT
Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve minor changes to the BA in Child Development, effective Fall 1993. The total number of units required for the major will remain the same at 54. The Basic Core will be divided into two sections:
- Core I will include courses which must be taken prior to the practicum experience in the Child Development Laboratory, CD 192
- Core II will include the practicum and number of courses now in the basic core. The Society and Culture section will be reduced from 6 to 3 units.
