Executive Memorandum 96-016 May 16, 1996

From: Manuel A. Esteban, President

Subject: Minor Changes to the BS in Mathematics Option in Mathematics Education

BS IN MATHEMATICS OPTION

Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve minor changes to the Option in Mathematics Education in the BS in Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics within the College of Natural Sciences. MATH 266 will be added to the required courses. This increase the required units in the Option from 18 to 21 and reduces the electives from 6-7 to 3-4 units. The total number of units required to complete the major will not changes. These changes are effective Fall 1997.
