OPTION IN GENERAL PHYSICS
Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve the addition of a new Option in General Physics within the BS in Physics in the Department of Physics within the College of Natural Sciences, effective spring 1999. The number of units required for the Option will be 35 units. There are now three options in the BS in Physics: Professional Physics, Science Education with a Concentration in Physics, and General Physics. The number of units required for the major will remain unchanged at 70-87 units.
