Subject: Approval for Minor Changes to the Applied Physics Pattern

APPLIED PHYSICS PATTERN

Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve minor changes to the Applied Physics Pattern (formerly Applied Optics Pattern; ref. EM 06-009) within the Option in Professional Physics, BS in Physics, Department of Physics, College of Natural Sciences. The total number of units required for the option will change from 24 units to 24 -26 units, the advising pattern course requirements will change from 15 units to 15-16 units, and the patterns will change from 15 units to 16 units. These changes are effective fall 2007.
