Subject: Approval for Minor Changes to Programs in Interdisciplinary and International Academic Programs

PROGRAMS IN INTERDISCIPLINARY AND INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC PROGRAMS

Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve minor changes to the programs listed below within Interdisciplinary and International Academic Programs, School of Graduate, International, and Interdisciplinary Studies effective fall 2009.

MA in Teaching International Languages

Course requirement changes will not change the 36 units required for the MA.

BA in Asian Studies

Course requirement changes will change the required units for the major from 30 units to 30-32 units.

Minor in Middle Eastern Studies

Course requirement changes will change the required units for the minor from 21 units to 21-23 units.
