Subject: Approval for Minor Changes to Programs in the Department of Health and Community Services

PROGRAMS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND COMMUNITY SERVICES

Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve minor changes to the programs listed below within the Department of Health and Community Services, College of Behavioral and Social Sciences effective fall 2009.

BS in Health Science

Course requirement changes will change the required units for the major from 63-66 units to 63-69 units.

Option in Environmental Health

Course requirement changes will change the required units for the option from 43-45 units to 50-51 units.

Option in Gerontology

Course requirement changes will change the required units for the option from 40 units to 46 units.

Option in Health Education

Course requirement changes will change the required units for the option from 40-42 units to 46-48 units.

Option in Health Services Administration

Course requirement changes will change the required units for the option from 39 units to 45 units.
