Subject: Approval to Change the Name of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, and Manufacturing Technology
Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate, and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve the change of the name of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, and Manufacturing Technology. It will be known as the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering and Sustainable Manufacturing, effective Fall 2011. The department will continue to use the abbreviation MMEM.
