Subject: Approval of a Minor Change to the Minor in Planning and Development
Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve a minor change to the Minor in Planning and Development. This change updates the curriculum by deleting GEOG 424 from the list of required courses and replacing it with GEOG 425. GEOG 424 has not been offered in 5 years. This change also creates transparency for students by incorporating a list of approved electives. Before the student chose 6 units of Planning-related (not listed) courses approved in advance by an advisor. The number of units for the minor will not change. This change will be effective Fall 2013.
