Subject: Approval of a Minor Change to the Minor in Multicultural Studies
Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve a minor change to the Minor in Multicultural Studies. This change reduces the number of units from 24 to 18. This is accomplished by reducing the Breadth and Capstone sections by 3 units each. The number of courses selected in the Breadth section will reduce from 4 to 3. The Capstone section was previously comprised of 2 required courses and an elective list the student chose 1 course from. This section now consists of 2 required courses. This change will be effective Fall 2013.
