Approval of a Minor Change to the BS in Agriculture

Subject: Approval of a Minor Change to the BS in Agriculture
Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve a minor change to the BS in Agriculture. The number of units for this major will change from 83 to 80-83. This is a result of deleting PSSC 334 from the Agriculture curriculum. This course has not been offered in five years and was listed as a required course in the Land Resource Management area of study within the Option in Crops, Horticulture, and Land Resource Management. There isn’t a course to replace this required course, so this area of study will be reduced by 3 units therefore changing the number of units in the option from 36 to 33-36. This change will be effective Fall 2013.
