Subject: Approval of a Minor Change to the BA in Social Science
Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve a minor change to the BA in Social Science. This change adds SOSC 300: Great Books and Ideas in the Social Sciences to the list of required courses within the core of the major. The number of units for the core will increase from 6 to 9 increasing the major units from 45 to 48. This change will be effective Fall 2014.
