Subject: Approval of a Minor Change to the Option in Environmental Science within the BA in Natural Sciences
Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve a minor change to the Option in Environmental Science within the BA in Natural Sciences. This change updates the curriculum to provide greater flexibility for the student. Instead of 4 courses required within the option, the student chooses 4 courses from a list of electives. GEOS 120, GEOS 321 and GEOS 330/330Z were added to the list of courses and GEOS 460 was removed. The number of units for the option changes from 11 to 11-12. This change will be effective Fall 2014.
