Subject: Approval of the BA in Intersectional Chicanx/Latinx Studies
Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and the concurrence of the Provost and with the approval of the Chancellor's Office, I approve the new BA in Intersectional Chicanx/Latinx Studies within the Department of Multicultural and Gender Studies, College of Behavioral and Social Sciences. The new major will require 45-46 units, with 120 units required for the BA. The program has been assigned CSU reporting code 22131 with a paired CIP code of 05.0203 and will be effective fall 2019.
