Subject: Approval of the New Master of Arts in Teaching
Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate, with the concurrence of the Provost, and with the approval of the Chancellor's Office, I approve a new Master of Arts in Teaching within the School of Education, College of Communication and Education, effective fall 2020. Upon completion of the program, students receive a Master of Arts in Teaching degree and will be recommended to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing for a Teaching Credential. The new MA will require 30 units and has been assigned CSU reporting code 08292 with a paired CIP code of 13.1299.
