Subject: Approval to Change the Name of the Department of Multicultural and Gender Studies
Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve changing the name of the Department of Multicultural and Gender Studies within the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences to the Department of Ethnic, Gender, and Queer Studies with a new abbreviation of EGQS. This change will be effective July 1, 2025.
