I am pleased to announce the completion of our 2018-19 Campus Budget Plan. On July 16, the Chancellor’s Office distributed the 2018-19 final budget memo and allocation amounts. The campus plan reflects a $238 million total operating budget for this year, a 7% increase over last year. The budget was delivered to the University on August 29, a week earlier than last year’s budget. I am proud of the hard work and collaboration of the University Budget Office staff and division budget leaders to make this possible. This budget reflects a continued investment in employee compensation and benefits ($5.5 million) and the success of our students through the Graduation Initiative 2025 ($2.6 million). Additional information will be shared at the University Budget Committee meeting on October 5, 2018. In addition, the 2017-18 actual revenue and expense information has been updated on the OpenGov financial transparency portal.
