I want to extend my deepest thanks to those of you who took time to participate in FutureFest over the last two weeks. Together, we are charting a course for our physical Master Plan and the University’s Strategic Plan that is bold and innovative and driven by a commitment to student success. Your input is invaluable to this process. More than 225 individuals attended our input sessions for the Master Plan, and 584 participants attended the Strategic Plan input sessions, providing thoughts and comments for the future of Chico State. We look forward to sharing what we learned soon, as well as hosting additional sessions where we can refine our vision together.

Meanwhile, I invite you to continue to share your thoughts. All faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to take part in the Campus Mapping and Idea Wall for the Master Plan—where you can identify challenges and opportunities we have with our current physical campus—and to provide input on the Strategic Plan with your ideas on what Chico State should be known for in 10-15 years—and how we can work together to make that happen.
