QLT Instrument
The QLT evaluation rubric is designed to help faculty evaluate their online courses and to implement changes to facilitate learning. Faculty can complete self-evaluations or request peer-evaluations.
There are three main ways to utilize the QLT rubric and resources:
- Self-review: no formal support, but Academic Technologies (ATEC) is available to help!
- Local review through a team of certified reviewers.
- Formal course review for Exemplary Online Instruction (EOI)(opens in new window) recognition and/or CSU certification(opens in new window).
The QLT evaluation rubric addresses 10 areas of importance for online courses including:

- Technology for Teaching and Learning
