University Foundation Special Endowment Award

This proposal requests funding to bring PSP faculty together in two groups for a re-visioning retreat. Many faculty currently teaching Town Hall or Great Debate sections of first-year courses are fairly new to the work. A retreat for each group, with FYE faculty present, would allow us to: share assessment results; revisit learning theory and pedagogical purposes for PSP work; provide time and space or new faculty partners to discuss current teaching practices and collaborate on shared assignments with experienced faculty members.
