Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Grants
The hub for Research in Equity, Antiracism, Diversity and Inclusion (READI) is offering 10 awards of up to $1,000 in Professional Development Funds to support the dissemination of pedagogical research at a major academic or professional conference, attendance at a learning & teaching-centered conference or workshop, or other approved research-related activities and expenses (graduate assistants/student assistants, subscriptions and/or memberships). Funds awarded will be disbursed to departments by the end of November 2022 and must be used or encumbered by the end of the fiscal year (June 30, 2023). The spending of these funds is limited to items listed in the CSU, Chico Professional Development Funds Form (PDF).

Research Grants
The hub for Research in Equity, Antiracism, Diversity and Inclusion (READI) is offering 5 awards of up to $6,500 to support research activities that center equity, diversity, inclusion, and antiracist practices. Funding can be used in a number of ways, including:
- A course buyout (release time-RT) (in Spring 2023 or Fall 2023) (The Assigned Weighted Teaching Units (AWTU) form (PDF) must be completed, if awarded)
- Additional employment (AE), please be mindful of additional employment guidelines(opens in new window) (specifically the 125% rule).
- Research-related travel expenses (domestic or foreign)
- Payments for student/research assistants
- Additional employment for faculty participating in a faculty learning community
- Additional expenses listed in the CSU, Chico Professional Development Funds Form (PDF)
