Devin Pike

Staff Research Associate

Devin Pike is a Chico State graduate with a passion for agriculture. He is a lifelong resident of the north state and grew up on his family’s walnut orchard in Dairyville, CA. After obtaining AS degrees in both ag science and quantitative reasoning at Shasta College, he went on to graduate with a BS in agricultural science (crops and horticulture) from CSU Chico.

Devin has worked in a variety of jobs including construction, surveying, nursery sales, fisheries, and water resources engineering. Starting in 2017 he worked as a self-employed water resource regulatory compliance consultant, building custom steel flumes and weirs, installing precision measurement devices, overseeing irrigation ditch operations, and managing water flow data.

When he is not working, Devin spends time with his wife and three children and their goats, chickens, dogs, cat, rabbit and ducks. He is an avid reader of science fiction and historical non-fiction, and enjoys board games, hiking, camping, D&D, painting, and playing his concertina (badly).
