Amanda Cox is a senior majoring in agricultural sciences with an option in education. For the past year, she has had the opportunity to help conduct research on biological nitrogen fixation with Dr. Hossein Zakeri. She has been assessing the affect of salinity on nitrogen fixation of alfalfa and quantifying the economic value and nitrogen removal of harvesting fava beans as a cover crop. In her free time, Amanda loves to cook, travel and paint.
