Annalise Thorpe

Graduate Research Assistant
I am a graduate student majoring in Geoscience with an emphasis in Hydrology. My research focuses on studying metals in water as part of the SCAP project.
Before beginning my graduate studies, I earned degrees in Biochemistry and History from the University of Arkansas. After completing my undergraduate education, I worked in meadow restoration and environmental monitoring, experiences that deepened my interest in environmental science and ultimately led me to pursue hydrology research.
Originally from California, I spent several years living in Texas before moving back to continue my education and research here. Outside of academics, I enjoy riding horses, hiking, and spending time outdoors with my dog.
